TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Hi everyone,

I filed TRV for my SIL on May 5, 2022 on line from Canada but no reply since then. Tried to call Toll free Number but no reply. Anyone in the same boat. Please advise. Thanks

Confirmation on June 12 2022.
Eligibility review: Not sure, wasn’t notified but when I checked on June 27 2022 they had already started reviewing.
PPR: June 28 2022

Hi, how you check the status because on IRCC portal it is just showing we are processing your application.

If you scroll down there is a section that says “details about your application”. If they have started reviewing your eligibility then under the section “review of eligibility” it would say “We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.”

Its been there from May 5, 2022 the day we filed the application. After this how long they take to do final decision.

Honestly I have no idea how long it takes to make a final decision. I think it just depends on the officer processing your application and also whether or not your application was a complicated one.

you should apply on paper because it takes 29 days and mine arrived in 2 weeks.

Eligibility- I didnt recieve any updates so checked today eligibility has started. (June 30)

People who have applied for visitor visa on paper after getting PGWP.
did you submit your passport at the time of sending the documents? Or are you going to submit later when they ask for it?
The checklist says you dont need to send the passport now. But i think we have to. Please help

you should apply on paper because it takes 29 days and mine arrived in 2 weeks.

Did you send the passport with the documents? Or did you wait for them to ask for your passport and then send? Thanks!

Hi everyone
I had got my approval for PGWP on 20th june, 2022.
But I didn't receive hard copy of PGWP still now. Some of my friends got approval after me and they getting their physical copy in 5-7 days.
Can any one help me, what I have to do now ?
or I will have to wait for next week

I sent it with my documents along because I had my flight booked and wanted it as soon as possible but they sent it back without stamping.

Could you please provide more details about your experience with on paper TRV?
When did you apply?
When did they return your passport without stamping?
Did you send them your passport again for visa?
Did they send you email for PPR?
All of these process just in 2 weeks?
Please explain with more details and dates, it will be very helpful, thank you.

Received my stamped passport today i.e. 4th of July
