Currently all of my wifes identification is in her maiden name.

Should she change her name at NSO to her married name prior to submitting an application and prior to obtaining clearance?

And what about her passport. It is also in her maiden name. Should that be changed.

Or, does it not matter because the NSO marriage certificate contains her new name?

Many thanks,

Hi,

As you have not submitted the applcation yet, my opinion is that get her new name changed in her passport now. That will be more easier than later changing her name once she become a PR.
While you fill up the application, you can show her maiden name, where it is asked as "other names".....
