Temporary Residence and Tourist

Dear all,

I am writing here trying to find aswers that I couln't get from IRCC webform. I am applying from Barcelona, Spain.

My family and I have applied for a Work Pemit (me) and Temporary Resident Visa (my wife and 3 kids).
I already got my approval for the Visa as a Work Permit. My family is still pending of final decision and my wife has to give the biometrics now. The problem is that the waiting list to give it is more than 1 month. I would need to start working as soon as possible. My questions are:


- Can my family enter to Canada as a tourists while waiting for their visas?
- If yes, do they have to get an eTA? They still don't have an eTA in their profile.
- If yes, can my wife travel back to Spain for giving the biometrics and then Re-enter in Canada in 1 week? After giving the biometrics they put an sticker on your passport. Can it be a problem to enter in Canada with this sticker as a tourist?
- Do you know if the Medical Exam can be carried out from inside Canada and finish all the Visa process from inside?

What citizenship does everyone hold? That's not clear from you post. You mention where you are living now but not if that is also your citizenship or you are just there temporarily.
