I am a Canadian citizen and worked the entire year but in July I got married to my wife who is still in the US as we await the permanent resident process to wrap up. She wasn't in Canada for much more than 30-60 days and never made any money in Canada. I generally use the computer programs and netfile myself but I know that when I say my marriage status changed in the year it prompts me for her return.

Will she need to fill out a Canadian one?

On the basis of what you have say your post then I don't think she was a tax-resident of Canada in 2010 and so no, she does not have to file a return. If you want to double check then you can complete an NR74 http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/nr74/nr74-04e.pdf to get a determination from the CRA.

I used Turbo Tax, same situation, married in July, he came and visited but not much, I did the marital status change, and had him as a non resident, because he was, and I did not get any error messages and was able to netfile. If your wife has US income, take the net income from her W2 and go to the Bank of Canada for the exchange converter and put that in where they ask for her income. Canada and the US have a tax treaty to avoid double taxing!!
