I am a PR since May 2012. I came to Canada with my siblings and parents via the provincial nominee program. I went back to my home country last February 2014 to attend to personal matters. I will be marrying my fiance next month (June) and will be returning to CA sometime in August. I am planning to petition my husband-to-be soon after. Do I have to inform immigration about my change in status right away (before I leave my home country)? What documents do I have to present upon re-entry? Greatly appreciating your replies in advance.
