submitted application without validation

Hi guys,

I submitted my PR application through PEQ program about 8 months ago. I just realized that the IMM*** forms that I filled in were not validated and therefore no barcodes on them. So, I am wondering if there will be any consequences (rejection or return the application) due to this issue. Anyone had the same issue? I sent my application by mail to the center in Sydney.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello a_ch_,

Please refer to this Guide.
It mentions:
Note: This barcode page will not appear if you fill out your application by hand.
Note: Completing the form electronically is easier and reduces the risk of errors that can slow down the application process.

So I believe that barcodes help the officers to capture some of the information in electronic systems quicker from the paper application.
Not having them is equivalent to you having filled your application by hand instead of using a fillable pdf form which are available from government.
The only effect would be slower processing. I do not think it would have any other impact.
