Hi all. My permit expires on July 31, 2018 but my last exam to finish my Program is August 20, 2018. It's just 20 days, but I will need an extension for this.
The problem is:
- i have already applied for an extension twice before this, and got it for 1 year each time. I thought I would finish this time, but there were 2 tough courses that I couldn't finish in the regular year so am taking them this summer.
- my financial situation isn't as great as last 2 times i applied. Those times, I was able to show $10000 in the bank but this time it may not be guranteed.
- since i just have 2 courses left, i am part time this summer, but since i didnt take them during the regular year, i was also part time in the regular year.
Can these things affect my extension application? I intend to leave Canada when I am done and I have no problem leaving even the day after my last exam (so on August 21). If I buy a plane ticket, attach a photocopy to my application and apply as late as possible (let's say in end of july 2-3 days before expiry date), could I possibly have a chance to finish my program while my application is still being processed?
