I have been waiting for the sp extension since nov 15 with no updates as well...
it is just not quite fair that some ppl applied in jan or feb got their approvals in one month but we who submitted last year do not even get an update

Ircc is so weird idk how are they picking files
Its almost 9 months since I applied for spe not even a single updation
Is this your first extension? And is your file is complicated or what?
not my first one, have extended once in 2020 and now i am doing masters so need to extend again
i know someone who applied on nov 14 is also still waiting

can you still file your tax with an expired sin?
but are you planning to do it before the ddl this year? or you want to wait until your sp/pgwp is issued?
I’m talking to a lawyer on Tuesday about a writ of mandamus because if I don’t get my new permits I will be denied my J1 visa to the states. If that happens and I lose my internship in the US I will sue ircc and file a claim for 40K as that would be my missed income for 4 months because of the incompetence of Ircc
