Hi guys,

In the reference letters or any other company letters, which number should I write in the letterhead?

My company has several store locations where various employees work at these locations, and my employer/boss is usually never at the store.

Is it okay to put down the employer's direct cell phone number in the letterhead?

Also, do letters like reference letters and other necessary letters must have the same dates on the top?

Thank you all..!

Give your boss cell number . I hope your reference letter have store address and contact number. It's not necessary to have same date on all letter. No employer give u all letter on same day without running behind him or her.

Thank you all..!

Hi lhworld,

shail2054 did respond you in his post, read it carefully. :)

oh I see! sorry I missed it..

so when shail2054 says,

Give your boss cell number . I hope your reference letter have store address and contact number.

I feel like these two sentences are contradicting. So do I need to mention the store contact number in the letterhead? And ALSO mentions the boss' contact #?

:-[ thanks!

Personally I don't feel anything wrong to provide both the number. Tell ur boss to write in reference letter to contact him on his cellphone if they need more information. I did the same. Hope this answer solve your query.

Typically a company letterhead would have the company information (i.e name, logo, address, phone number, fax, etc.)
Additionally, you should add the contact information of the person signing the letter, in this case your boss I assume (email address, phone, extension, position, etc).

Hence, you will have an official employment letter with both the company and your boss information.

Note that all these were CIC requirements back when I applied in May. Not sure if they have changed... nevertheless, I would submit as much information as I can. Better be safe than sorry!
