Staying in Québec with valid CSQ during the permanent residency process

Hi Everyone,
I need your help please!
I am currently holding a post graduation open work permit and valid CSQ under PE program.

Now I am doing general labour job (skill category D)
Can I get a work permit for such job as my PGWP will expire soon.
(I applied for Permanent residency since 4 months and no response yet)
