Spouse's TRV with study permit extension online application

Hello,

I am a fulltime international MS student at a Canadian university and currently got admission in PhD at the same university. Now, I am applying online to extend my study permit along with a TRV application (within the same application package) for my wife because I want my wife to accompany me here during my stay in Canada. Can it be possible to apply like that? How likely it will be successful??

N.B: I have sufficient funding to bear expanses of my wife and myself. And, my wife was never been to Canada before.

I'm not sure that you can do them together, or that it would be to your advantage to do so. For a TRV, they will want to see strong connections to her home country.
