Spouse selected for interview

Hi, I applied to sponsor my spouse last year but they selected my spouse for interview. Interview waiting time is 24 months. it's too long for us to wait. She became mentally sick hearing this news. What can we do right now to avoid interview or shorten the interinterview waiting time? It will be a great help us.

Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do since you have been selected.

I suppose you can try sending additional relationship proof to the visa office (interviews are typically requested because the visa office wants to confirm your relationship is in fact genuine).

However it's unlikely that sending additional proofs will have any impact. Unfortunately you'll just have to wait.
