Regardless of what your consultant put on the forms, YOU are responsible for all the content on them. A person should review everything and question anything that doesn't look right before signing and submitting the app. Saying the consultant messed up is not an excuse in IRCC's eyes. The visitor visa was rejected. I have never landed in Canada. Also, I am not sure what marital status the immigration consultant put in my visitor application because we had a verbal fight on his professionalism on which he never shared any details. I am just considering the case where ‘Single’ was declared. The marriage was not legally registered, so can you please help me understand how can it be an issue please because IRCC does not consider a ceremony as marriage?
Yes, in the spousal application I declared myself ‘married’ because at that time we got our marriage registered legally.
