My friends, like many of you my files, had changes on April ,

The only difference between me and you was that, I called irc c immediately after seeing that the file was change from submit to in process , and the agent who answered the phone told me that my case had gone from etobicok to Landon, Ontario. After that on may 4 one officer called me in privte nomber and ask me about our file and relationship and maybe she was not satisfied because at the end she told me we will email you for virtual interview, but till now silence yesterday my representative webfom to ircc and ask why no any email or contact after five month

I hope some body answer he

My question now:
About 2 months after the crisis in Afghanistan, I could no longer contact the agent directly in the ircc , but the recorded voice says that you are in the process of reviewing the eligibility and do not need the interview . Is the information recorded in that tape similar to The information is in Gckey ?because I only have access to my Ecase information because I have a representative I can’t access to Gcsm

And do you recommend to order officer note?

Hi Peeps,

I am looking for a little help from canada visa forum community on my case. Right now I am applying for my husband's application in Sposoring spouse within Canada.

He holds an international student visa. and got a study permit renewed twice. The most recent study permit was renewed in Dec 2020.
But did not attend school this time. Then we got married in May 2021. I am working on his Open work Permit application. On the Document CheckList imm 5556, Am I supposed to check box saying
"If You a Student" Provide proof of your academic standing: letter from institutional registrar and/or photocopies of transcipts from your last two periods of study.
OR
could I provide. "Letter of completion" of his previous program which completed in Jun 2020.

Thanks for helping

what documents they asked for and did you send those documents by email ? how long they took in emailing you about eligibility after additional documents
the same usually documents they have been asking everyone here.
ID, recent photo, t4, NOA etc...

i believed it took 3 months after i email to get eligibility

i think it will make sense if you can provide letter of completion, since he has stopped or have finish his studies...please be guided as any mistake could or will lead to return of ur application.

I got AIP September, along with pre arrival services, and RPRF. Medical passed. Just waiting to see what the next step is. I thought AIP was a good indicator of COPR but Smith got an interview. Not sure if it was specific to their case. But hopeful for us all =)

We got AIP (stage 1) last week. The letter still says

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. :’(
