Sponsored wife considered dependent?

Anyone can help me out please.

For government services like workers comp, there is a box that says if you have dependents.

Do I mark 1 dependent spouse, even though her application is in process and not living with me?

Under the Workman's Compensation Act (only):
"dependant" means a member of the family of a worker who was wholly or substantially dependent upon the worker's earnings at the time of the worker's injury or death, or who, but for the loss of earnings due to the injury or death, would have been so dependent;

Be aware that this is a "provincial" service or program and MAY vary by province.
