Hi, I hope everyone is doing well amidst the pandemic.
I would like to seek your assistance prior to applying for PR. My partner is currently outside Canada and soon I will be applying for PR. Which action should I take, should I apply for my self first and then sponsor my partner once granted for PR, or should I apply for PR together with my partner?

I appreciate all your help.

You cannot apply as single if you have a common-law partner. You must declare them, whether accompanying or not accompanying.

If you do not declare your common-law partner, you will never be allowed to sponsor them.

You're missing what I said.

You cannot not include them.

Your question is whether or not they are accompanying you. They still must do biometrics, background check, and medical exam even if they are not accomapnying you. The only reason why they should not be listed as accompanying you is if there are points involved and you drop below a threshold.
