LANDED..........

Hello everyone,

My parents got their visas and are landing very soon. But the problem is they have to go back home in a month time. By that time they won't get their PR cards for sure. I know they can go back without cards but can't come back(by plane) to Canada without them.

I was thinking to send PR cards back home by hand with someone when ready. But just in case if something went wrong with PR cards photos not good, then what is gonna happen? What is the procedure then? They won't be here physically to deal with it.

Can I ask them to retake photos before they leave anyways and send them if required later on? They will ask to mail new photos right? They are not going to ask them to come to local CIC office.right?

I will really appreciate your replies.

Thanks

The correct procedure is that they apply to the local visa office where they are living for a Travel Document to come back to Canada.
A number of PR cards are diverted to local CIC offices in Canada for personal collection. This is always a possibility.

Delivery by hand by someone you know well is the route i would take. The photos will already have been accepted by initial landing.
