Settlement forum might give you better answers but a generic piece of advice would be to throw out all your expectations in terms of pay and take the offer that comes your way. Don't make the classic mistake of comparing your Canadian offer to your US compensation. Also, get an offer before landing as much as possible especially if you have a family and/or little to no money saved.
In terms of the search itself, specify on your resume you are a Canadian PR and give a specific date such as looking to move to Canada in XXX, 2022 and you don't need any sponsorship to work in Canada. If you are talking to consulting firms, let them know you are willing to "incorporate" if needed for the role. It is a self-employment thing somewhat like 1099 in the US.
Then apply for as many roles as you can. The market for tech workers is hotter than in a while so they are probably willing to overlook the hesitation they typically have for non-local workers and might hire you even before you land.
