Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if there is any sample explanation letter available on this forum that we send with our application in the beginning, if we are missing any documents. I am actually planning to apply for immigration in early January but I cannot send my police certificates and the latest T4 and NOA until late February.

Please guide if there is one available.

Thanks a lot !

You can send your Pcc later in the process, that's not an issue
Re T4 and noa, I applied last jan and sent the previous year's. I didn't have any issues

Re letter, I don't think there are samples - just keep it straightforward and to the point. Post a draft here if you want feedback

Hi lpc19800,

Thanks for your reply. Actually there is some other discrepancy in my documents that I want to explain as well.

I was wondering If I can just find the information such as what address should we put on the letter, who should it be addressed to etc.

Please let me know if you have some information regarding this.

Thanks again.

send me a pm with your id, I will definitely help you and related to T4 and NOA, I think, you should include them in your application, as don't know in the later stage if VO will accept it or not

no address is needed in the cover letter and it should be addressed to visa officer.
send your most recent T4 and NOA but let them know you will send the ones for this year (2013) once they become available,im very sure they will consider them at a later stage as updated documents, once you get your AOR you can scan and email them to cpp-ottawa including your full name-date of birth-UCI-file number-country of citizenship and application type.

good luck :)
