Hi there,
I just wanted to know if my wife should remove website access to her application. my wife's application is complete and she has received her PR card as well. will she ever need this access in the future. i think i kind of already know the answer to my question, but i just want to be absolutely sure all the same....any insight into this matter would be helpful.
Thanks,
Sammy.

Why would you want to remove website access to the application, even if its done? The only case I can think of is some sort of privacy concern that you may have?

Your information won't be deleted from the system, so it will only make things more difficult for you if you ever need to access the information in the future.

In theory she could use that to track a PR card request in the future (though they don't seem to put that information in there for many people).

Also, if she applies for Canadian citizenship, she could check the progress of that application through that site, but if you remove website access she'll have to check it by phone.

PR application information disappears from your account automatically 180 days after landing, PR card information 30 days after you receive the card, and citizenship application information 180 days after you receive a decision.

Thank you for the replies guys. They were really helpful...No we do not actually have any privacy concerns. So I guess she should just leave that website as it is. Much appreciated.

Sammy.
