Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of getting my reference letter but all the managers I worked with including myself no longer work at the same company, we have moved on to other jobs.
Can they still give me a reference letter for the company we previously worked at?
Also can they use their current company letterhead paper to write the reference letter?

Thanks.

You will need to ask the HR or the one's who are working in your former company to write you an offer letter.

No, your former colleagues cannot write you a reference letter for your old company on their new company's letterhead.

In addition to HR giving you a letter on company letterhead you could also include a letter (not on company letterhead) from your old manager confirming that you did the job duties and verifying your employment. Even better if they can show proof that they also worked there

Are there any cases where PR got approved without a reference letter but using supporting documents like IT-returns, pay stub and offer letter?
