Nope! not at all !
Depends what does additional documents mean though. There are two types of docs:
1. Mandatory (gives you point and keep your application valid)-- not providing them results in rejection. Passport, etc
2. Supporting documents to support your claim (experience letter from employer)..
Documents other than these are additional, such as experience letter of accompanying spouse. No points !
thanks Farazafzal, i appreciate it
one more question related with this. so if i add one year foreign experience i will get point through it
Regards

This is for which country? If it is for Singapore, then it is perfectly valid. I too have the same without signature, but it is a colored. Every country has its own procedure and practice. CIC cant ask them to change.

All the singapore PCC holders does not have the signatures.
For Portugal. It is not colored, but tgey only issue like that. It comes with a code that let anyone download the certificate

My application got refused at the last minute due to a PCC issue. I was supposed to provide one for my stay in India back in 2006-2008 too, which slipped my mind...instead, it was mentioned "2015 till present" in my PCC. I am devastated. I got a refusal email for incomplete application. I tried filling up a CSE form online, but I haven't received any response until now. I decided to re-apply and get back into the Express Entry pool. Thankfully, my score hasn't changed but there seem to be some changes in rules by CIC, which is delaying a draw. Any suggestions...?

hey, you have been living outside of India? When did you turn 18? Your response could help others in the process.

Yes. I am presently in Oman. Been back and forth for studies and work. I turned 18 in 2003. The issue occurred only because the cops mentioned the dates in my PCC. In case of my husband's PCC, he only got it stamped in his passport without the mention of any specific dates / years. That's all that was needed in my certificate too...

I have been in and out of India for studies and work. I am presently in Oman. I turned 18 in 2003. I was back in India for my MBA for two years in 2006 and back again to Oman in 2009. Then I got back again to India in 2015, and returned to Oman in April 2017. I got my Indian PCC just before i travelled from India in April 2017. Unfortunately (for me), the report states that I have been residing in my Indian address since 2015 till present. However, I had to point out to them to mention about my stay in India back during 2006 to 2009 too in the same report. Else, not mention a "from" date at all in the report. Usually, an Indian PCC does not mention any specific dates. It simply gives an overall assessment and issues the certificate for all the years / entire duration that you have spent in India since the time you turned 18. The cops simply had to only issue me the certificate saying that there has been no adverse info against me which renders me ineligible for the grant of travel facilities, including application for Canadian visa. Hope its clear now....

Any rejection case after being nominated through a PNP? My translations (Done by Ontario translator) comes with Affidavit, scan of the document and translation. I didn't have any problem with the OINP but I see on the IRCC they say that also need a certified copy. Anyone know something about it? Is possible Ontario accepts the translations but not the IRCC?

Hi seniors
Important question regarding PCC. I am a service engineer and frequently travel to different countries. I have been travelling on a multiple entry business visa to Saudi and stay is never been over a month, as the validity of business visa is not more than a month in a single visit.
I am doing this for the past 5 years now and I am pretty sure that the number days stayed in Saudi is more than 180 days.
My travel has been on business visit and have never been a resident of the country.
Do i need to provide a PCC from Saudi ??
Thanks in advance

You need to provide Saudi PCC if you live in Saudi, otherwise no.

If you do not have current legal residence status in Saudi Arabia, you are not required to provide a Saudi Arabian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Saudi Arabia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Saudi Arabia because certificates are only available to people who have current legal residence status.”

Yeah i found the same article.
Its really great that IRCC realises how difficult it is to get things done in Saudi when you are not physically present
