Hello,

So, I applied Staples in Halifax, NS. The name of the position is "Customer Service Representative", I know that this position generally falls under 'C'. However, I am confused, because the job description says I will receive calls from "small to medium sized businesses in the U.S.". In that case, will it be still "C" category or it will fall under "6221 Technical sales specialists – wholesale trade"?

I am also attaching the overall job description for this position. Please see below:

"JOB SUMMARY

Answer customer enquires in a professional and courteous manner. Resolve issues, deliver creative solutions and enter orders. Use accepted Staples practices to ensure the delivery of outstanding service to all of our customers.

In this role you would receive incoming contacts from small to medium sized businesses in the U.S. and provide superior customer service in response to inquiries regarding Staples business products and/or services

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide “WOW” service to our internal and external customers
Receive and respond to direct requests/inquiries from business customers, regarding Staples' products and services
Provide creative solutions for our customers and generate incremental revenue for Staples Business Delivery
Generate sales opportunities by asking questions and listening to determine and fulfill the customer’s needs.
Maintain a thorough understanding of customer service guidelines to properly recommend solutions and correct service failures for our customers
Use in-depth product knowledge to provide product recommendations, pricing and availability information
Respond quickly to internal/external Customer requests and demonstrate excellent follow up
Take ownership of each contact while providing speedy and thorough resolution
Communicate to CS management all and any updates and pertinent Staples or customer information
Maintain accurate and updated information for customer accounts by verifying all necessary customer information

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in customer service and dealing with customer complaints
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient typing skills; familiar with Windows environment.
