Hello Everyone!

This is my first post and I'm glad to be here in this forum where there are so many people helping each other.

I intend to apply for Canadian Immigration through the Express Entry program as a skilled worker. I've been working for a company for the past 3 years and worked as a full-time, paid intern on the first 5 months of the mentioned period.

My question is, can I show the whole period (5 months + 2 years and 7 months = 3 years) under my work experience or do I need to exclude the internship part?

Appreciate the help.

I believe internships do not count as part of employment, because they are considered to be part of your training.
So you would be applying with 2 years and 7 months of experience.

But they do count.

To OP: Yes, you can count the overall experience provided this wasn't inside Canada.
