Question Regarding Educational Transcripts

Hello All,

I applied online for my official educational transcripts last week, i got it today in the mail, but it says "not valid if envelope seal has been broken"


does this mean i cannot open it? if i cant then how can i upload it?

Assuming this is for a Canadian educational credential, you can open the envelope, scan and upload the transcripts along with your degree/diploma/certificate.

Yes this is from U of Victoria in BC.

So i can open it myself? Do I need to provide a LOE?

No real need for an LoE here but no harm if you include one. There really isn't any other way of obtaining, scanning and uploading transcripts without tampering with the sealed envelope so I would imagine there isn't anything to explain here but your call on the LoE front.
