Pre-Assessed..
Dear Boarders,

I got SINP nomination few week back, awaiting for ITA, related to R&R letter,i had furnished to SINP taking it via official email of my colleague, SINP had approved it, my question is this is sufficient enough for CIC as well?
My senior is willing to provide the same R&R in plain paper as well with the company Id card, is this required? or Official email proof is enough?

Thanks
Sathya

If you can't get a letter from your supervisor or HR, then yes, a letter from a colleague, co-worker, or senior, preferably on company stationary (plain sheets work too), and with a company ID card or business card, will substitute as proof of employment, including to CIC. When you do furnish this to CIC, however, do attach a letter of explanation to explain that you tried to procure and furnish a proper letter from your employer, but were unable to, which is why you are submitting this alternate proof.

Get this letter on plain paper notarized and then attach it with business card.

Yes, my senior is willing to provide in plain paper too, but my question is I had already taken in email,so the hardcopy thing is required?

It needs to be signed by him. Unless the email you have is scanned from a physical copy with his signature on it, I suggest getting a physical copy.
All documents are submitted to CIC digitally- but you do need physical signatures on a lot of them. Your work documents are among those.

Okay thank you..the email I have, I will be attaching as outlook item, while submitting, anyways I will take the hardcopy as well along with the ID card.Do we have to notorize the hardcopy, or not required?

I generally notarized any supplementary proofs I submitted for my own peace of mind- but I want to remind you that CIC is a Canadian organization and does not recognize Indian stamp papers. Getting it done on a stamp paper adds a bit of authenticity to your claims, but it isn't necessary per se.
My advice is to get it done on a stamp paper, to be sure- but if you can't get it done on a stamp paper, don't worry about it, and submit a plain sheet. That's fine too.
