Hello All,

I am looking for some answers on the process of Canadian Experience Class. I am a Dec 2013 applicant. I am an Indian Citizen and recently moved to USA on a L1 Visa. I recently completed my Medicals and they were sent out to CIC on 28th Aug.

My question is (assuming all goes well) what are the remaining next steps? Would I need a VISA along with the COPR to complete my landing process ? Any help in this matter is highly appreciated.

Thank you. Thomas

They'll send you a passport request next. They will put an immigrant visa on your passport and give you the CoPR. Then you can land with the visa and CoPR.

there is already a thread on the first page. Please search a little..

Thank you for your replies.

I actually have a multiple entry visa that is valid until Jan 2015. Do you think a new immigrant visa would be required ?

Also my son's passport is expiring in Dec 2014 do you think that will be an issue ?

I know BSL in USA takes around 2 months to renew Indian passports, and if I get a passport request during that time I will be in trouble.

Appreciate your response.
