Has anyone received PPR from CPP-O recently? The waiting time is beginning to mess with my brain.

CPP-O does not give out PPR.

After Buffalo closed, apparently our file was transferred to CPP-O and then later transferred to LA for finalization.

Application received Jan 23, 2012
Sponsorship Approved May 5, 2012
Processing Started July 31, 2012
Notice of Finalization (I'm guessing approval since they asked for the passport) - October 9, 2012.
Passport Sent October 17, Received (hopefully) 24th, and returned...?

I received an email from CPP-O requesting a scanned copy of my passport on October 19th. No idea how long it takes to receive our notice that the application is finalized and my wife can land. I'd imagine the wait time would be shorter since we didn't have to send in the physical passport, but who knows...

So, they are doing things at Ottawa now.

Congrats flyonthewall .
I sent my application in October 27, 2011 and the file was transfered to CPP-O in June 7, 2012. I am yet to hear from CPP-O. I have sent them emails but no reply. This is so annoying.

I can definitely understand your frustration. I'd be enraged... maybe it's time to do that CAIPS thing? where you get your notes? That might help. Alternatively, I've seen some people go to their MP.

Yeah i have received the GCMS note 2 weeks ago but I dont understand it. Me MP said that he cannot help me because I have a Lawyer representing me.

Your MP can help whether or not you have a lawyer. He can only check to see what's going on with your file, he can't make it go any faster however.

@Parker 24, i just called the dude 5 mins ago and he told me that he cannot help cos ive got a lawyer. The lawyer is not even performing up to expectation. I advise everyone on this forum not to use a lawyer if your case is straight forward

Really? Then your MP is either lazy, uninformed or misinformed. *shakes head* I agree with the lawyer part however. If your case is straightforward, you can do it yourself.
