Not required by CIC, but some CBSA agents still ask for it.

Thank Toby and good to have you back from Europe, so can a person go to land without it? and no problem will happen?

As I stated in my post on the website, it is not required. However, some CBSA officers might give
you a hard time and ask for it. So gather the documents I've mentioned and come prepared.
There's no specific amount requirement, so print off a statement and take it with you - that way you can
show something, instead of being sent home.
