Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

I know people who apply in july 2015 got spouse visa.. but after that since August nobody get as I know... I am wondering the new processing time line going to be apply for applicants who applied since last August.. , before it was 9 months and now it says 17 months.. ANY BODY HAVE ANY EVIDENCES, INFORMATION ABOUT THE IMPACT OF THIS NEWLY MENTIONED 17 MONTHS THING.....??

Hi.. Did you send a copy of Sri lankan ID along with your docs.. I am an Oct applicant and they ask it from me... now its 8 months for you ... if y still did not get how can October applicants keep hopes.... Hmmm..

No. I didn't submit a copy of Sri Lankan ID. hey I know it's frustrating. ??? but let's just pray and hope for the best. who knows sometimes you might get it before me be positive. stressing out just makes the wait worse. believe me

i didnt hear anybody who got ppr this year from colombo office.... Im still waiting for update from colombo office.

Hey its more than a month passed since you sent the additional documents isnt it better for you to email cic and get an update about your status.

Since when I applied earlier my file was under process for more than 2 years so I kept emailing cic and was able to get my passport request but unfortunately because of not mentioning my tourist visa rejection in the application my visa was refused

hmm Yea i too heared some peoples got ppr but in this forum no one got ppr from colombo Office.

My relative got ppr after they done interview and many of them from my surrounding which CIC is calling for interview.

So prepare for interview guys.....

They got last month but i am not sure about thier timeline.
