Dear Fellows,
I am migrating to canada next month on PR (FSWP) visa from Dubai.

I am Electronics Engineer (Instrument & Control) having +6 years of work experience at large scale Power Generation plants.

- Can you please suggest, which city/province should I choose where there is good probability of getting my field professional job (Instrument & Control Engineer ) ?

- I have conducted my Educational Credential Assessment from Word Education Service(WES-Canada) for visa application process. I have heard still I need to take some Engineering License before start looking for a job...is it true?
> If it is then what is its way forward? How can I proceed for getting license before leaving for Canada?
> What is its approximate $ expense & time it takes to get license?

Looking forward for your kind response.

Since no one is replying - it is probably because no engineers with these specific skills are on this forum.
How do you find out which province / or if Canada offers such jobs? Job websites. If the job exist, it should be on a job website.

How do you learn about certifications or licensing? Google is your friend, but here is a start : https://newcomers.engineerscanada.ca/licensing-canada
(I googled this for you)

Iam actually in a dilemma fir deciding whom should I prefer as primary applicant.
My spouse is an Instrumentation and control engineer in powerplant industry with 11 years of experience. Myself an IT professional with 3years of experience.
As per my hus jobs profile, his duties more matches to Power Engineer (NOC 9241)than that of Electrical and electronic engineers.(NOC2133) Which one should I chose?
Whom should be the primary applicant as per qualifications? PCC should be availed for both applicants (Spouse has worked for some international assignments (mor thN 6mnths))?? Please share ur thoughts.

Got with the job duties and who matches better.
Look at which combination (you or your husband as primary) would give you more points. If you both are planning to come to Canada, it doesn't matter who is the primary candidate.
