Hi,

Me and my family entered Canada as PR on 12th August 2006. We came back to Dubai,UAE after 20 days of visit. I plan to send my family back on the 1st quarter of 2009 for good and I'll stay in UAE for the time being.

In case I don't meet the PR residency obligation of 2 years out of the 5 years, can my wife sponsor me as a resident?

What other option I have aside from my wife's spouse sponsorship option?

What if I go back let say, with 1 year remaining in my PR card, and when the PR card expires, stay in Canada while my wife applies for my sponsorship? Is it possible or allowed?

I'm moving to another job here in Dubai next month to a company where I believe will enhance my IT skillls and credentials. I don't want to leave my new employer after 20 months coz' I feel that the experience that I gain will not be sufficient to help me find a good paying job in Canada.

How easy is it to be sponsored by my wife when she gets her passport?
Is the sponsorship requirements different if she's a PR card holder only?

Any viable advice is welcome?

Regards,
Ajie
