PR file rejection due to NOC and IELTS score

Hi,

I have question and little bit confused on what to do.

My application was cancelled and received the rejection letter stating below:
"Your file has been rejected specifically : due to language test results : Your CLB score do not match the NOC 1123 skill set A"

My score was 6.5

I was not aware that I have to match the CLB with the NOC. I put NOC 1123 as primary occupation however I have Canadian experience in NOC 1211 which is under skill set B and my IELTS score goes with it.

My question is can I re-apply by putting my primary occupation as NOC 1211 and my base my application on it? and mention NOC 1123 in my work history?

Yes you can apply by making NOC B as your primary occupation.

Thank you for clearing my confusion.

So I dont have to give IELTS again. I can leave (just mention in application) my international experience of NOC A in work history and base my application again on NOC B experience.

Do you I have explain to CIC in some sort of letter about re-applying ?

Yes, it is advisable to mention your previous rejection in your LOE and explain that you are now applying under NOC B as your primary application. No need to give IELTS again.

Minimum Clb for skill level A is 7; for Skill level B, it’s 5. You can reapply using the experience you have here as the primary occupation. Keep in mind that your IELTS result must be less than 2 years old.All the best and sorry about your rejection.

Yes, IELTS is from this year. I just dont want my application to get rejected second time because I made a mistake of basing my application on international experience and did not realized that I need 7 in IELTS.
