PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 25, 2022.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 25, 2022.
3. We started processing your application on May 25, 2022.

PR Card Renewal Application Delivered - May 18
AOR - May 25

June 28 - We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive.

I applied under urgent processing on May 18th stating that I would like to visit my family and I have a medical condition.

In last 5 years from the date of my application, I was out of country for 1084 days. I applied only after I met RO and the buffer was just 10 days then.

I moved to Canada permanently in 2019 and had quite a bit of travel history to US during my initial few months as I was commuting daily for work so I had attached extra two pages documenting my travel history, address history etc.

Lastly, I did everything by myself and by God's grace it went through. Hopefully I will receive PR card soon so that I can visit my family.

Note : my PR card expired in October 2021. I did not meet the RO at the expiration date (still needed 8 months)

Hi, our applications were received on May 18 but no AOR or application status on GC key yet. We also have citizenship applications in the process, could that be a reason for the delay/rejection? Any insights?

Mom PR Card is in the mail as of June 29. I just don't know which address they sent it to though! LOL Been trying to get call center agent from past 2 hrs no luck!

You can't link it to your GC Key. It stays individual.

Oh still same with us application received May 12 but when i checked our GCkey submitted date is June 21.
