I am Dominican and I'm waiting for my PR card in my country. I have family in New York city and I would like to know if it could cause any problems if I apply for an American visa from my country while I wait for my canadian process. Someone told me, if I get rejected from the American embassy it could bring problems and investigations and possibly lose my Canadian process.
If anyone knows about this situation I'd appreciate it.
