Pr cancellation help

Hey everyone...really need your help I got my pr last month...I am in India and my husband is in canada..due to some reasons we are filing divorce because my husband's family is demanding more dowry ...now he wants to cancel my pr..and I don't have any problem with that...just little worried about my passport...what will happen ? Will embassy will restrict my entry to canada in near future? please help

I don't think so this has anything to do in future, why would they restrict your entry to Canada? unless you commit crime or misrepresentation in your PR application or intention to come to Canada using the marriage path which you clearly mentioned that you are not interested and ok with cancelling the PR. other may comments on it.

You do realize that if you have already landed as a PR of Canada and you do not have Condition 51 on your CoPR...there's not much that your husband can do to demand that you forfeit your PR.

Now...if you have received your CoPR but have not yet returned to Canada to `Land', then you can just wait for the CoPR to expire, since cancelling the application AFTER you have your CoPR may not be possible:

If a final decision was made before we receive your request to cancel your application, you will have to respect your sponsorship obligations.

Still in India have not landed yet... Don't have my passport my husband is now giving it Back to me... He says he will return my passport only after canceling my pr...soo little worried about my passport..what kind of stamp

Your husband should not be holding your passport as hostage regardless of how your PR application is processed. You should demand that your husband return your passport. If he refuses, you should report that to your authorities and report it lost or stolen. This way you can get your new passport. You should not be "stuck" in India due to your husband holding your passport, that is rightfully yours.
