Guys, I have the following questions regarding police certificates. Keep in mind I'm only interested in 2 countries X and Y

I live since 2006 in country Y. I am from country X:

1- if I want to get pcc from X while I am visiting X how does that work? It is not my residence country but I am there, i cannot have a pcc after leaving. Is it better to wait until I am in Y and tell my relative to do it for me? Doesn't make sense.

2- do I have to mention all the periods I went to X while I have been residing in Y? I go to X like 3 times a year. Do I have to mention every trip even for few days?

Lol..the X and Y makes your questions more like a trigonometry question..

Anyways, to keep it simple. If you are residing in Canada and would like to get your PCC from India. It has to be issued after your latest visit to India.

In this case you can get the PCC from the Indian embassy in Canada. For countries where you can go to the embassy, there can instructions on CIC website on how to obtain it. However, the PCC has to be issued AFTER your latest visit and not while you in that country for visit.

Hope this helps

Lol thanks. Since for my country the instructions are clear it seems I have to make the pcc after I leave :).

You haven't answered my second question though :P

You do not have to include trips between your country of residence and your country of origin at all in the travel history. The instructions are pretty clear on that.

So you understood what X replied to you and than Y added his comments to it. :P

Get the PCC for X country from its Embassy based in Y country. This PCC should be obtained after your last visit to country X.

You need to mention only the dates of your last visit to this country X in LOE.
