I have gotten a job offer by a Canadian hotel company named the loden hotel in Vancouver. And they are in tie up with another consultancy in New Delhi, India. Now I am from India as well and was looking for work in Canada and this vacancy came about the time. I got an interview call from them as in recruitment agency in Montreal and my telephonic interview was conducted. Few days later I was offered a job and was mailed an offer letter to sign and returned it back. So that the consultancy in New Delhi can start processing my visa visa and such. Now can someone please look into this and let me know whether I am being scammed or it is an actual offer. My offer letter is as follows.

It's a scam. Don't give them any money and don't share your personal information with them.

As Scylla says it is a scam and comes under the category if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. Can you for example see this ‘vacancy’ for such a high profile position on the actual hotel website ? No you cannot.

The Loden is a 4 star boutique hotel and is very unlikely to be recruiting anyone from outside Canada even the ‘hr’ email address is not the hotels email address. Add to this only a telephone interview not even a Skype interview with the actual hotel but they still ‘offer’ you the job without seeing you, only accepting a third party view you are suitable for such a high profile position.

If you are still not convinced go to the actual hotel website and contact them directly, so not the hr@theloden.co (the scammers address) but the actual hotel email on the hotel site, careers@theloden.com believe is a valid address. Note the restaurant has a separate website in this hotel.

For sure looks like an immigration agent scam
