planning to apply for expresss entry, but new owner took over.

im foreign worker. im planning to apply for express entry, but new owner took over the store.(currently working in the same location, same tacotime store) do i need to get new lmia and work permit?? will it affect my express entry application in the near future? thanks in advance

Hi are you on an Open or Closed Work Permit? If the old LMIA is still valid and the business trading name etc has not changed then a new LMIA is not required.

closed work permit. yup my lmia is still valid. so its ok? do i need to inform the cic about the new owner?
