Hi,

Thanks all for the info i got which helped me to speed up our process. I need some more info. Please help to get this info also. Yesterday my husband went to Bank of America for certified checks but they are saying it will taking 5-7 business days. Is there any other way I can get the certified checks immediately. And also my husband took the photo in a T-shirt without collar for the application. Is that ok or he need to take in formals?

I hope your husband asked for a 'international bank draft' .. In some cases in BOFA takes just 2 days and some they take a week.

If you already paid for it... then call the bank and tell them its urgent and ask to expedite...

If havent paid for the check yet,, then you can use AMEX travelers services, they charge $25 and get the check very next day. ( i got it like this)

But i know some cases where they have said they got the draft same day in BOFA....

regarding the photo.. as long as it meets the specification you are good i guess.. But looking professional with a formal wear will look good

Is the check for payment to Canada or as you proof of funds? If its for payment
I think you still can have the money order coming from USPS or from any bank paid to
Canadian embassy.

Regarding the photos, better be with colar and white background without expression to be safe.
