Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi

Respected Members,

We recently submitted our re-medical to ADVO on 13th April 2015 - we are expecting to receive PPR soon. My wife may need to leave UAE and go to USA for a family emergency next week. Would it be possible to send the passport from USA to ADVO or are there any security concerns ?

Looking for some advice on this matter.
