Parents/Grandparents PR

Hi everybody!

We applied for Canadian PR (sponsored by my child). All papers have been sent to Nairobi in August 07, and we got our file number in September 2007. Does anybody know how long will it take, because in our letter, it is stated that it will take about 24 months whereas on the website (application processing time) it is written :
30% in 12 months
50% in 19 months....etc...and 80% in 46 months
So we are a bit confused, can anybody help please?

1. Most refusals are in the first 30%
2. The numbers are averages of applications ALREADY processed, so if 1 application takes 12 months and 1 takes 48 months, then the average is 30 months.
