Outland Application Status

I'm sponsoring my wife through an outland application. I've been notified by CIC that I've been approved as a sponsor and that they've forwarded her application to the visa office in the US for review.

Is there a way to check the status of her application? Or do I just have to wait it out?

I checked there and it only has information about my part of the application. I'm looking for information on her part, apparently it's been sent on to the US....

unfortunately, that's as good as it gets... normally when you log in (either with the UCI or with the file number) you should be able to see something about "application for PR" - it says "application received". If you click on that, you might have "medicals have been received" (when the medicals have been matched up with your wife's file), and it might go "in process" after a while, and then finally "decision made" - but that's about it There is no other way to check and know what is going on, apart from waiting to hear from the VO...
