I applied to be sponsored for my husband from US but his post graduate work permit is expired and now we have the file number for sponsorship but he can’t work in Canada .
Can he get open work permit soon or how long it takes to get work permit?

You need to provide a lot more information.

Are you a PR or citizen of Canada? Assuming that's the case, did you apply to sponsor him through the inland spousal sponsorship program? Did you include an Open Work Permit application with the sponsorship package?

When exactly did his PGWP expire? When did you submit the spousal sponsorship application?

I am a Canadian citizen but unfortunately our immigrant consultant didn’t have enough knowledge and he didn’t do that .
Do you think if I apply again do I have any chance or I have to calm the officer ?
I got my file number one week ago and we need his income !!!!

We applied 09 . 11.2020. I just got the file number 2 days ago .
