I have too been in this game for the last 6 years.
I also had a setback, that's why back from Australia.
One month was hell after that. I know how it feels.... as I have there
These few days might be a bit sad for you... you will think about what you could have done differently...

What whatever you do, don't give up the fight.
What's happened has happened.
Keep looking into options and new ones will open up.
Leave no stone unturned. Whatever options you have take them all.

Yes, this is one of the nicest persons I have seen on the forum! Though she did not get AOR, she was regularly updating the list for other people. Very selfless person. I am appalled to learn that this has happened to her . There is nothing that can be done now other than revisit the mistake that was done and not to commit the same in the future.

Hey if you feel sad, just cry it up. Mounting sorrows inside and not expressing it is very very bad for mental health. Just take some time off and go on a trip. Take your mind off it. You will definitely get another chance - November 2016 is your time to apply. Its just 2 months away. Good things happen to good people;albeit slowly. You will get your chance and you will see a quicker process. Until then, hang in there.

Hi Guys, I got the following message as response when I sent them inquiry mail:


The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has received your application.

The attachment has "Your application was reviewed to confirm that it is complete and has been forwarded for assessment."


is this reviewed and accepted mail? What is the next step in the process.

Nope. This means that you got AOR and they sent it to someone else instead! Congrats!

just a positive thing to think about. the 2017 PT and the entire process will be online and will begin in Nov so you have chances and a quicker process too.

I am really sorry to hear about your application Angel1719. I was one among them who was expecting your AOR every day since last week. As it has happened, ask OINP if they will reconsider your application when they open once again as @patnikrishna suggested. You have nothing to loose.

You will have a story to tell everyone in this world! Keep following this forum and keep your Canadian dream alive. Please do your application on your own next time. Time is a great medicine, it can do miracles, believe me. Just go on, smile, get the better of yourself to improve your score and apply once again

I was in similar situation.
Got informed on phone that I already have been issued my AOR
2nd day - I sent them a detailed email .. same night got a response in the form of another reviewed and accepted letter
3rd day - Kept my mail limited to three line and added a subject in bold to body of letter and got AOR that day ( which had been issued 5 days ago )

Pretty sure yours is the same case
Just write them a short email and highlight the important few lines.

For me the nightmare began when I tried to get a DD in Canadian dollars.
...
Bottom line OINP should make it easier for people to pay the application fee. Perhaps accept multiple payment types? We should not have to jump through hoops just to give OINP our money. It took me almost 2 weeks just to get a DD in Canadian dollars not to mention the amount of stress!

Me too! I live in Brazil and I had to get my friend in Calgary to get me a Bank draft.. Nightmare!!! This is the 21st Century, they really should accept credit cards!!

i received an email saying that my file has been returned to my agent and it is due to missing passport pages. Package is on its way not yet reached to me.

Very sorry to hear that! You must be furious, I'd be if I'd paid someone to help me out and it turned out they screwed up! Don't give up and get ready to redo your profile so that you get selected early on in November!!!

Hi Guys,
Thought twice before informing u all, my application got rejected, coz my agent did not attach my resume copy in the application. I am totally depressed with this blunder my agent has made, as I used them for not doing this kind of silly mistakes,
Please do not trust your agent at all blindly. I really don't know what to say or expect after this tragedy with me. Can anyone guide me if I want still tell Ontario that it's not my mistake and my agents.

Please check if anyone of you can suggest me and keep my hopes positive.

Best of luck to all other's waiting for AOR, specially for Angel1719 you deserve an AOR very soon. All other for Nomination.

Extremely sad. Can't take this off my brain..
I look at the lists of other month applicants.
Applications returned for missing resume, for not writing N/A, for this for that...
Wish they had kept the numbers few and worked with that...
All this is a tad inhumane...
