Hi All,
I have submitted my fairness letter in the last week of August 2014. I was expecting a response from CIC in a month, but now its more than 6 weeks..still heard nothing from them. I called up my lawyer and he said he cannot tell anything regarding the time. I am thinking of asking for the MP's help in this. I am reading that CIC is now a bit slower than before....

Please suggest.

@Jes_ON, ZingDNA, others.......please respond

Sorry to hear that , May I know Why you have been given Fairness Letter ? I don't think CIC is slow but yes they are overloaded too.

You can send a Query by Email or Can send a Case specific Enquiry too. Did you ordered GCMS notes after your response?

I suggest that you contact your local MP as you mentioned. Just bare in mind that they just follow up on your application process and/or your query. Usually they will get back to you within 2 to 3 business days.

Meanwhile as Gurindar suggested order your GCMS notes, it doesn't hurt.

Best of luck,

I am not sure why you expected a response from CIC within a month. I would say it's probably a good thing that you haven't heard anything yet (I think a refusal would probably have been swift, but that's just a guess). You can always apply for your GCMS notes and see what the VO thought of your response.

There was some confusion regarding my salary, so we had a sent a clarification for that.
I have not applied for GCMS notes after sending the reply. I was given time till Sep 2 to sent the letter and the lawyer sent it on Aug 27.

I have emailed by lawyer regarding the GCMS notes, lets see what he says.

I am in the same boat and just sent my supplementary employment letter to explain my duties. Known from my GCMS notes, CIC has their own timeline and we are in the waiting list for another VO to review. Be patient~
