no NOC on my work permit

Though I moved from India to Canada on temporary work visa (valid for 3 years), i noticed that the work permit issued does not indicate a NOC code.

The problem I have is when I am creating EE profile, there is specific ask for "Enter NOC mentioned in Work permit"

I am in dilemma whether I can put the NOC based on which the work permit was processed.

Any recommendations?

Aren't you supposed to work on with a NOC code that you were originally processed with? It only makes sense right? Did you change your job and started working for a different company? Pretty sure that's a No No!

hi, Thank you for replying. I moved from India to Canada on work permit. In fact, my immigration lawyers had gone with a NOC code to apply for the permit. However, I see the NOC # is not mentioned in the permit. I am continuing to work in the same permit and same job from day 1.

Hi,
By the What is your Designation in your Work Permit. It mentioned in "Occupation". Then search same in CIC website then you might find right NOC code.
