No last name on passport.

hello Friends
In my passport my first name is as "Gagandeep Singh". last name is blank.But I do consider "Singh" as my last name. Shall i get it corrected before applying PR. I have already stayed in canada for 1 year and have SIN number also. Please suggest.
 
How you filled your work permit applications ?? , As Surname can't be left blank here so while filling any PR application Keep your Given Name in Surname.
 
yeps I wrote Singh as last name. But when I applied for SIN then i noticed the blunder. They took my whole name in last name and told me to get it corrected later. Actually I am short of time..
 
Well It wont stop you to apply , Apply your PR , I have the same Issue ;D

No Worry , as per CIC guideline if Last name is not present , Use First name in Last name field and leave First name Blank

Don't worry bro !! Even I don't have last name on my passport but unfortunately canada immigration took my first name as last name on my student permit and same On Pgwp as well . Now I don't have any first name in canada lol and but make sure however u have ur name on immigration document just use like
That !!
Coz that's how I did !!
