Hi guys,
I am submitting my application in December under CEC.
I am working in university and more recently my boss moved from university to other Govt position. Still I am continuing the same work.
I got my job reference letter from my boss. But the letterhead did not contain ph no, mail ID and website address. It only contains designation and
address of office.

My boss job is highly superficial job in Canadian Government. So, the letterhead is very simple and indicating it is from government official. If they go to the website they will easily find all the contact details about him very easily.

Is this letter is sufficient or do I need to ask him to include his contact details. He is very busy person and don't want to bother.

Suggest me do I need to include contact details of my boss. Or Can I keep a cover letter indicating the website details of him, which they use for communication with him.

If you are an employee of a university, you will need a letter of employment from that university. Note that the date of the letter should not be before you meet your 1 year requirement, but after.

In addition, a letter of employment from your FORMER boss is OK if he is the best person to describe your job duties and responsibilities. But the letter of course needs to indicate that he recently changed jobs, that he was your supervisor when he worked at the university. The address and contact information (if not part of the letterhead) should be part of the letter. Or, if you have his card, you can attach that to the letter.

Even though my boss moved from here still i am working with him. Officially he moved to different job, but continuing here too.
So, he used the current main status letter head. I am working with him from 4 years and I can only take letter from him.
the pay stubs, T4 forms, My previous offer letters, even my work permit has my university name. In the process if the ask any questions related to this
he will definitely help me to answer or write a letter of explanation to them.

i don't have his card. I have requested him to include contact details in the letter. If I did not receive in time, I will submit the same letter.

Thanks for suggestion.

You need to understand why this is a problem. You claim to work for University X. The single most important document in your application, the letter of employment, is written by an employee of Agency Y (per letterhead). They don't match. You don't have a letter of employment from your actual employer, University X. Your application will be refused. It is not the VO's job to figure this out. It is your job to present the correct documents and credentials.

I completely understand the problem. The letter has given the actual employer I worked for four years and still continuing. In the initial paragraph of the letter he mentioned that he is writing the letter as former professor of the university. He also mentioned my joining date in his group/university and about continuation. He mentioned my current salary too and other job roles. But only he used his main designation letter head.

My professor moved recently (2 months back), Officially he has not given any other prof to me to work with. I am only communicating with my former boss for work related things. But, We have one professor as official in charge of his grants and that is happening from only 2-months.

As you sad if it will not work, I have to get another letter from the incharge. I may keep both the letters. The later letter I can get from university letterhead. Please tell your opinion.

LOL, already did. See my first post.

BTW, not sure what you mean by "in charge." Universities have HR departments. I assure you, they are completely accustomed to writing employment verification letters.

I am getting employment letter from university. Which indicate my joining date and salaries with whom I am working, my position etc and except job duties. I am submitting letter from the boss for job descriptions.
I agree that these things u said in first answer.
These two are sufficient ?
One letter indicate the employment with the university another with the job rolls

Will it be fine?
