My EE will expire soon

Hi My EE profile will expire soon. In 10 days to be precise.
What is the best practice, wait till it expires and then create new one, or to create a new one withdraw the old one. Moreover, in case I have to wait till it expires, do I need new email for the new profile or I could use the same one.
